These cookies are my daughter's favorite snack.
She would literally find on her own all the ingredients, throw them in a bowl and start preparing them without any assistance (at 12 months) .
Quick, healthy and with lots of fun. It's a wonderful way to get a child to experiment with flavors and adjust the recipe to his/her liking. Good luck with it!
Ingredients
Banana
Oats
Optional (Chia seeds, Peanut butter, Honey, Chocolate Chips, Dates, Desiccated Coconut, Raisins and whatever else you can think of).
Method
Mush the banana and slowly add the oats.
At this point you can add anything you like (e.g. Chia seeds, Chocolate Chips etc.). The texture should be a bit sticky.
Then form the mixture into cookies and bake until they get a golden color.
The cookies should be crispy from the outside and chewy from the inside.
